Sant  Jordi 2019

El dia de Sant  Jordi va ser molt especial per a mi, perquè vaig guanyar el 1r premi d'anglès amb un poema que es tracta de l'èbola i és molt xulo. Espero que us agradi !!!!

SAINT GEORGE TODAY
PSEUDONYM: YELLOW TREE
PROSE 1st ESO

Who is Saint George today? He is not a knight on a white horse killing a dragon to release
a princess from a castle.
The dragon is something that needs to be killed in today’s world. For me this dragon can be

the Ebola Virus that causes an haemorrhagic fever that often kill almost all the people infected.

This Virus has killed thousands of people in Africa, my favourite continent.

The Ebola Virus needs to be killed because African people deserve to live well.

The knight who will kill my dragon, the Ebola Virus, will be the vaccine.
The scientist who developed in 2015 the vaccine are  my Saint George’s knights.
The last infection in Congo Republic 2018 killed more than 600 people.
The vaccine will help the Africans to be healthy.
Who is my princess? She is Africa, the people in Africa who need to be
free from illness that kill them.
My Saint George today is a scientist, my dragon a virus and my princess is Africa.
